Amazon Prime Day- How to Save Money - Useful Tips

https://amzn.to/2NtuMzb

Amazon Prime Day is very similar to Black Friday. This is shopping event that takes place every year in July. So, this year the Amazon Prime Day will start on Monday July 16 and will last until Tuesday July 17, it will last 36 hours. Well, honestly telling you this does not quite fit the definition of a “day” even my 6 years old child will say that the day has 24 hours, but who cares? Amazon Prime Day is more like Amazon Prime 36 hours. Anyways, today I just want to talk about a few things related to this event. In this video I will share my experience from last year and will give a few tips on how to score the best deals and not spend all of your money during this time.

So, keep in mind that this event is for Prime Members only. If you are not a prime member, you can try it free for 30 days. This is actually smart- as you get to experience the membership for free and take advantage of the deals during this time. I have a direct link under this video for a free membership. Feel free to check it out.

Also, Amazon  has an Official Guide with all the deals and bargains and timings and all those details, so feel free to check it out, as I really don’t want to make it boring and talk about all the deals available. Really, there are many good offers available, and the best is to check the official guide. I will have a direct link to the Hub page under this video.

Alexa- I’ve been dreaming to get it for a while! Alexa is like a virtual assistant- it’s a voice controlled system, similar to Siri . You can simply speak to it and Alexa can play music, search the web, shop online, get all the information you need. If you are shopping online as much as I do, then probably this would be a useful device. I will personally look for deals on the 2nd generation Echo Alexa smart speaker. If anything, I really, really want it and hopefully there is a deal on it during this Amazon Prime Day Event. It goes for about $99 or so.

There is another thing I want to mention- I also want to get my hands on the 23 and me test. Last year there was a good deal on this test, and I’ve missed it, this year it is on my list to get items during this event.

If you are not quite interested in shopping, you can still get a feel of this event by participating in free giveaways. There is no need to purchase anything, if you download the Amazon application you will be entered into the drawing for a chance to win big. Or get this, if you have Alexa, simply ask “Alexa, what is the news?” Alexa, what are your deals”, Alexa, tell me about Prime”, “Alexa, what is Prime Day? “Alexa, how can I create my own skill? – and so on…. And you will be entered into a drawing to win a 2019 Lexus ES…. I never won anything in the past, but all this seems legit and who knows, right?

Now, be careful because not all the advertised deals are actually deals… You gota know your stuff. Just because you can save $5 on a box of overpriced paper towel that sells on amazon for $36, does not make it a deal… You can get the same paper towels at Costco for $17 anytime… so, is true for other items. Know the prices elsewhere before you buy it…

So, with that in mind, have fun shopping – hope you score great deals during the Amazon Prime Day! If you have tips to share regarding the deals on Amazon or simply want to share your thoughts with the world, I welcome communication under my videos and posts.
